“Behind every great athlete, there is a great coach.” Coach Pat Summitt of the Tennessee Volunteers girls basketball team is noted as the greatest Coach of all times. Coach Summitt said, as quoted by one of her players, Nikki McCray-Penson, “Getting into coaching is how you impact lives and leave a legacy.”

 

I will not coach your girls how to dribble balls down a court or to make swish in the net. Instead, I will, as their life coach, teach them how to weave their own nets of success, as they cultivate their goals and aspirations on their court of discovery called life.
